I am really excited about writing today’s Yoga Hacks, because not only is it about beautiful plus-sized yoga or work out apparel, it’s also a post that’s inspired by a wonderful colleague. Last weekend, she went for her first hot yoga class, and she said she thought of me when she finally gone for her first hot yoga class after contemplating trying yoga for so long. After reading my website, she suggested that I should do a post on plus-sized yoga clothing because beautiful plus-sized yoga clothes are not always readily available.
And I believe all yogis, no matter what size and shape you are, should have the right to pretty yoga clothes! So in today’s post, we will take a look at the top 5 brands for plus-sized yoga/workout apparel, and hopefully this will be useful to every single one of you out there. <:
Here are the top 5 plus-sized yoga apparel brands that you should check out:
Nordstrom carries a variety of plus-sized workout apparel, including Nike, and I really love their designs. There is a great variety with many different colours, and some of the designs are so pretty and chic.
Not only that, I’m pretty sure for you guys who are living in the States, it’s definitely slightly more affordable.
2. Old Navy
Old Navy is one of the top 5 affordable yoga apparel brand that I’ve mentioned in my previous Yoga Hacks post, and it also carries a nice range of plus-sized yoga apparel as well. Their sizes run to 4XL, so even though the images do not seem as if they run big sizes, they actually do. Some of the readers have also told me before that Old Navy tends to run big on their sizes, so do bear that in mind when you’re shopping online at Old Navy. Always check the measurements chart!
If you are looking for absolutely cute and super affordable leggings, this is definitely the shop to go to! I love their loungewear and yoga leggings so much, in fact some of their designs are pretty reminiscent of VS PINK, just that it is a lot more affordable. They are a great example of how plus-sized work out apparel does not have to be in boring colours!

4. Lane Bryant
I have never heard of this brand before, but I am amazed at the great designs that they have on here! My personal favourite is the mesh top – what a great way to look stylish on the mat by wearing that over any fancy and colourful sports bra or yoga top that you might own. In fact, I had a difficult time picking just 4 designs because I love so many of their apparel on there. Definitely a must to check it out!
5. Target / Walmart
And of course Target and Walmart has always been known to carry plus size active wear that not only is affordable, but also is of great quality. Unfortunately, I don’t see a lot of variety in their online stores, but I believe they should have a good range of apparel in their physical stores. I have heard from many readers about the great variety and quality of activewear in Target and Walmart so you should check it out if you haven’t.
