Hello you guys! It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted something on here, so I thought I should write a little update post about what I have been up to recently.
The past week has been extremely hectic for me, because I was busy going for yoga classes, taking yoga photos and writing some posts for some upcoming projects for the website, and spending time with my loved ones. In fact, I think I was pretty stretched out that I fell sick towards the end of the week! Took the weekend off the yoga mat and it was a really good break. This also reminded me to listen to my body and its needs. This time I might have overexerted myself.
But even though it was a really busy week for me, I still had lots of fun doing what I love, and to me that’s really the most important. Every day I wake up feeling tired, but fresh and happy, because I was going to spend my day doing something I like. I think that’s a luxury to many people but yet something so essential.
Anyway, I spent one morning at the beach and ended up doing some beach yoga. This is the first time I’ve done yoga on the beach, and it’s definitely a lot harder than I expected. The soft sand makes it harder to balance in some poses and I was falling over quite a number of times before I got the hang of it.
Also, absolutely loving my yoga top and shorts from Forever 21 Sport. They are so summery and they are in my absolute favourite colours. I think I am going to wear these to yoga classes pretty often. <:
I’m heading to Hongkong this weekend for a short getaway with some of my friends, and I’m pretty excited about that! Also, look out for a giveaway happening on my website real soon – I have actually posted the details up on my Instagram, but I definitely will be doing a more detailed blog post about it in the coming days.
