Hello everyone! I hope that the summer has been treating everyone well! For me, the summer holidays is really flying by very quickly – I can’t quite believe that school is starting in around 3 weeks’ time. And it will be my final year in university, which sounds really crazy.

As you can see, I haven’t been very consistent with updating this space on a regular basis. I have been doing pretty well on Instagram though! It’s funny how when it comes to managing Tumblr, Instagram, and this website, there’s definitely one platform that will be somehow neglected. However, I do promise that I have a couple of yoga guides in the works for you all. So if there’s something that you would like to see, feel free to comment below and I’ll definitely take that into account.

I have been kept sufficiently busy and rather fulfilled during this summer holidays, being involved in various projects and busy with keeping up with a daily practice. It is a lot of work to keep up with social media sometimes. For a few weeks, I spend my entire morning at my yoga studio doing 2 classes a day, and then scramble to shoot for some side projects for the website and keeping up with yoga challenges, and then I also have school commitments, on top of wanting some time to myself to stay sane and to spend time with my loved ones. Sometimes it gets a little overwhelming. But most of the time I am grateful for being able to do the things I love. I’m not complaining about being busy! I think the most important lesson I’ve learnt from 2014 is that it is a blessing to be busy with the things you truly love.

Recently there has been a lot of negative news on the media. My Facebook feed is practically flooded with negative news and tragedies. Sometimes it is hard to stay optimistic when the world seems to be shrouded in all these negativity. But it is just an added reminder when I wake up every morning to be thankful and to seize the day, to enjoy what I do and to be thankful for the good health that I am blessed with to do what I want.

With the brand new school term looming around the corner, my daily intention has been to stay in the Now. School is alwaysΒ a source of stress and anxiety for me, with the workload and with the human drama, but recently I have been very much at peace with myself. I truly am enjoying every single day, taking it as it comes, and simply staying in the present.

So, if things get a little overwhelming for you, just stop. Stop and breathe and focus on the now. Remember to pamper yourself. Do something you love. Eat something you’ve been craving for. Because you always deserve to do the things you love and enjoy the good things in life.
