It’s finally the Christmas week! I’m pretty sure many of you are excited for the festive season, myself included. I have been looking forward to a good break in Jakarta with the boyfriend especially since I’ve been so busy in the past few months. Definitely the most timely trip for me to recharge my batteries!

It’s my first day here in Jakarta and some of you have asked about what are some of the skincare necessities I’ve brought along with me when I go on overseas trips. If you guys haven’t known already, I am not the most diligent when it comes to applying skincare products, so I appreciate all-in-1 products that does multiple jobs in one application. That way, I don’t have to worry about skipping steps or getting the sequence all wrong when I apply these facial products.

Furthermore, I don’t enjoy bringing a lot of skincare products when I’m overseas, especially since I took the budget airline this time round and that means carry-on baggage only. So I thought I should share with you guys some of the skincare products that I have brought along to Jakarta with me.

What I brought along with me to my holiday!

Even before working with Hada Labo Singapore, I have already been a fan of their products because of the simplicity and lightness of their skincare products. It’s not greasy, it doesn’t have a strong scent, and it allows the skin to absorb the products really quickly and easily. My skin doesn’t feel overly dry after cleansing, and the lotion and moisturising cream are really light.

Transferring some of the products to travel-sized containers

Another tip is to transfer your products into travel-sized containers that allows you to streamline your toiletries bag and you will find end up having to bring multiple skincare products. For Hada Labo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion (left), it acts as a toner, moisturizer, and essence, and you only have to bring 1 bottle to complete these three steps. It’s also eco-friendly because you don’t have to buy multiple travel sized toiletries and make use of these reusable containers.

If you’re heading for a holiday soon, give Hada Labo a shot and it is a really good skincare staple not only as a travel companion but at home too. And if you’re looking for last minute gift ideas for your girlfriend, Hada Labo skincare products would make very thoughtful gifts for your friends! x
